This is for you if
- You've lost weight on your own before, and it keeps coming back.
- You have a lot of weight to lose and don't want to start in a crowded gym.
- You want someone keeping you accountable between workouts, not just during them.
- You're busy and need workouts that fit a real Chicago schedule.
- You'd rather lose weight alongside a friend or partner.
Three parts, one plan
-
Training.
Thirty-minute one-on-one sessions, two to four times a week, built around what you can do today. Your coach is with you the whole time, so every minute counts.
-
Nutrition.
Your trainer builds a meal plan around your goals and the food you actually eat, so progress continues between sessions, restaurant dinners included. No fad diets. Nutrition guidance is included in every plan, not sold as an add-on.
-
Accountability.
Daily check-ins and messages from your own trainer, not just when you're in the studio. Accountability is the part most people are missing.
Why 30 minutes works for weight loss
Thirty focused minutes is long enough to work hard and short enough to fit two to four times a week, even with a full schedule. A session you can keep showing up for beats a longer one you skip.
Dave knows where you're starting from
Dave Bostik, Transform's owner, weighed 346 pounds when he started training in 2003. He lost 150 pounds working with a personal trainer, and he opened Transform so other people could get that same help in a private, non-judgmental studio. Today he talks with every new client and matches them with the right coach.

Questions about weight loss training
How much weight will I lose?
It depends on where you start, your schedule and how closely you follow your plan, so we never promise a number. What you get is a plan built around you, a coach who checks in every day, and honest feedback on what's working.
Is nutrition included?
Yes. Every plan includes a meal plan built around your goals and the food you actually eat, plus nutrition guidance from your trainer. No fad diets.
How often should I train to lose weight?
Our plans are two, three or four 30-minute sessions a week. Your coach helps you choose what fits your schedule, and your meal plan and daily check-ins keep you on track between sessions.
Are 30-minute sessions enough?
They're built to be, when they're paired with your meal plan and daily check-ins. Every minute is coached, so nothing is wasted.
I have a lot of weight to lose. Is that OK?
Yes. Dave started at 346 pounds himself. Your coach starts with what you can do today and builds from there, in a private studio where no one is watching.
What if I have an injury or a health condition?
Tell Dave on your first call. All of our trainers work with people recovering from injuries. If your doctor has limited your exercise, check with them before you start.
Is there a contract?
No long contracts. Training is month to month, and cancelling a package takes 30 days' notice.
Can I do this online instead?
Yes. Online coaching is for US clients and starts at $127 a week, with a custom program, daily check-ins and a weekly 1-on-1 video call.
