Simple Vegan Breakfast Hash

Check out this yummy recipe for a Simple Vegan Breakfast Hash. It tastes so yummy! We had this the other day. It was super easy to make we didn’t need much to cook this! Thanks Nikolas Elliot for providing it.

 

PREP & COOK TIME: 1 hour

INGREDIENTS

For the Potatoes:

  • 3 medium russet potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 large sweet potato, peeled and diced
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

For the skillet mixture:

  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 5 cloves of garlic, finely diced or minced
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • sprinkle of sea salt & pepper

Not sure about you, but I’m the type of person who NEEDS something to eat first thing in the morning. Ever heard of hangry (a.k.a when someone gets angry because they’re super hungry)? Yep, it’s a real thing. Just ask my relatives. It isn’t pretty. With that said, I don’t like spending tons of time prepping things for their sake or mine. I likes recipes that are easy to make first thing in the morning to get my metabolism going. Healthy breakfast smoothies are perfect for this!

The following healthy breakfast smoothies do the trick. They don’t take much time to make and are healthy. Special K & Other Like Items⠀

Eating cereals like Special K and being even HUNGRIER only a few hours later is super common. What happens is when you are eating for fat loss, your body has to be put in a caloric deficit BUT, not all calories are created equal. One bowl of special K cereal and milk usually has somewhere between 300-400 calories. ⁠The problem is Special K Cereal is mostly CARBS with little protein and fat and the sugar rush from the cereal will give you with a blood sugar spike.

Fueling your body with the right types of food will make you look and feel amazing. Today I’m passing along a healthy homemade granola breakfast recipe. This is another easy recipe to make. Also, it’s a nice way to switch things up in the morning. And even better, it’s vegan!
